Default Looking for preformance and durability

Im looking for a high preformance crossbow that I can practice with on a daily basis without worrying about it breaking.

Ive budgeted half a year for this, so price is not a major concern here.

Any have some suggestions

Dan, AKA, AWSHUCKS shoot's the piss out of his CB daily and has not had any problems that I know of. He like alot of other shooters here use a Excal. I have had The higher end Horton's for the last fourteen years and have never had any problems with them. I would consider myself a part time heavy shooter. Once summer gets here I start shooting alot, and then slow down once season starts only shooting a couple times a week to check the CB. Once season is over it sets most of the late winter and early spring. I just bought a Excal myself and am waiting for it to come via, UPS. I you really think you will be shooting alot then IMO you need to go with a recurve style since you can service them with out a press. You will wear out your serving if you shoot alot and if you have a Compound style you will have to go to a shop to get a new serving. This is the main reason I am trying a Excal... Freedom from a shop! Lots of good Excal guys on here and Horton also has a new recurve design, but its new.

i shoot an Excal. Phoinex, Shoot a couple of time a week. Used to shoot another brand, compound style. Was dependent on a shop when thing's went bad(all the time). Now I reserve my own string's in my livingroom.
IMO you will not regret going with Excal. But that's just my 2 cents...Bill

Another vote for Excalibur, 1000's of shots and no problems.

My Father has an Excalibur and from what I have shot I think it ispretty good CB. It shoots really well from season to season and the craftmanship is fantastic.
