Well I shot a raghorn 5x5 bull elk with my 300 win mag using 200-grain Nosler Accubond bullets. The results were the same as if I would have shot it with a Nosler Partition. I was happy with the Accubonds preformance. The wound channel looked just the same as others that I have shot with a 200-grain Partition. The bullet made a complete pass-thru so I do not know how much weight was retained.

Thanks for posting the results. Ideally that bullet should pass thru leaving a decent blood trail...unless of course it hits heavy bone.
It' s as it should be...
thanks again.

i shot a 11 pt. whitetail this afternoon bullet performed very well out of a 7mm ultramag...........this bullet is a KEEPER! i would say the same performance as the ballistic tip but much better penetration! way to go nosler for the fine job!

Thanks for the post WolfKiller. I had seen the ad, and was wondering how they would really preform. After all an advertisement seldom speaks the accurate truth, they tend to exagerate things a bit to be competitive with the rest of the BS' ers.

have shot 3 whitetails with the 160 gr. accubond this season, all entrance impacts are about the size of a " half dollar" & exit holes 1/4 dollar in size. shots ranged from 200-75 yds. not sure how this compares to partitions?

I just read an article by Layne Simpson in Rifle Shooter magazine. He thinks that the new accubond is going to be one of the best all around bullets to come along in a long while. He does not recommend the premium bullets for light skinned game like deer except in the Magnum calibers. He likes the interlock, corlocl and Ballistic tip for deer and the premium bullets for elk and moose. However he thinks the accubond will work well for all game in all calibers. In my opinion he is a pretty savey guy.
