Default Cast Preformance LBT' s

A friend of mine killed a mule deer Sat. morning. He usd a T/C System 1 .50 cal. with peep sights loaded with two 50 gr. pyrodex pellets, and a saboted .45 Cal. 300 gr. LFNGC Cast Preformance LBT Series Heat Treated Solid. He hit the buck in the front chest, destroyed the heart, and all other organs in the bullets path, through the paunch, and stopped at the inside rear hind quarter just underneath the hide. The bullet caused two inch cavitation through the whole animal. The buck was floored immediately at 150 yrds. and didn' t get up. It was kind of like a reverse Texas heart shot. Not bad for a .19 cent bullet. [:-] Good luck, and good hunting!!

I often thought those Cast Performance LTB flatnoses that I use in my .454 Casull revolver would do a good job in a sabot from a ML!![8D]
