David, Steiners are amonst the best. Although I bought Swarovski mini's the Steiners are awsome esp for the price. I've found all too often that on my final stalk on multiple animals I needed binos to ID the right animal. A scope does ok but there's less movement when using binos. There are other reasons but that is the main reason I always carry a small bino when hunting.

I have three pair one I know is a Nikon that stays in my 3D chair. One in my truck, one in my backpack, and I never use any of them, unless I want to spy on the neighbors..

.. I don't have room in a tree stand for all the junk I have bought through the years. I don't shoot over 45 yards, and I can see that far.

With the big Swarovskis I could damn near read the price tags on the fishing poles on the other end of the store, with the small ones I couldoogle the girls standing with their boyfriends looking at the fishing poles..
The Steiners were very similar to the Swarovskis, minus about $700. The other thing I don't like about the Swarvorskis is trying to spell the word, it's just not normal.
