IMO I would have to see the Stryker shoot that fast. It has a 17" power stroke and the Excal Exomax has a 16.5" power stroke, but the Excal has it in poundage by 50# ( 175# vs 225# ) !! The Ecal is rated at 350FPS. I don't know howit couldshoot 55 FPS faster, unless it has some type of radical cam design or something.I guess it could be possible, butI would have to see to believe. I personally wouldn't sink that kind of money into someone's first attempt at Xbow manufacturing.

It has the binary cams on it.. and looks like it has incorporated the beyond paralell limb design.. so it prolly could do 405fps easily, BowTech is known for producing fast shooting bows..

Binary cams and parallel limbs do not in itself increase speed. The binary cam system is meant to synchronize cams to make for an efficient cam system and parallel limbs reduce noise, vibration and mostly jump in the hand of a compound. Being a mechanical cocking system they can use an ultra radical/harsh cam system along with high draw weight and long stroke to produce high projectile speeds.
Dan coined a phrase "its not how fast it shoots, its how long it shoots fast". Time will tell, who knows, this bow may be a revelation in bow history. Only time will tell. History is writen by victors not loosers!

Dnk: Actually, the saying is "It's not how well it shoots, but how long it shoots well" and it was said by Bill T when he was showed the 4 wheeler from Switzerland or some other "new idea", lol. I'm thinking maybe they have some major problem[s] already and that's the reason no one has one yet.

The Swiss crossbow costs $5,500.00.
That's the main reason no one owns one.
I was told it has the finest trigger of all time which it should at that price.
