stryker!!!
A olman that is a diehard excal shooter says he want buy one of these crossbows (stryker) because he says the wheeled crossbows strings and cables wear to much, how true is this? Also what is the price on one of these stryker crossbows and do they really shoot that fast? Are they as quiet as adveritise? Just trying to get feedback because I'm thinking of buying one for when I go home to Alabama, I can take a wild hog with one....

RE: stryker!!!
Nobody knows, they aren't out yet. They cost around $1600. They hyped them for months for a Nov 1st release and everyone that bought one is still waiting, lol. "Coming Soon" lol. Good luck!! Most xbowers w/ much experience don't want any part of them.

RE: stryker!!!
I'm thinking very seriously about ordering one.
I don't feel, the string and cable wear will be that big of a factor.
The bow comes with extras anyway.
As far as the Nov. 1 release, I believe, that was an information release.
Not a delivery date.
They're supposed to be available in another month or so but who knows.
I don't really care as I don't plan to hunt with one until next season anyway.
I'm not saying it will be a better bow than Excalibur or 10 pt but it appeals way more to me than either of those bows.
Appeal is everything.

Whatever.
I love Weatherby rifles alsoand the 30-378 Accumark is my favorite.
There have always been hunters that claim to hate Weatherby too but would have bought one if they could afford one.
Not saying it's the same with Stryker but would not be surprised.
The Stryker cost no more than the 10pt Pro Elite but is faster and better looking, imo.
Looks like, the Stryker is the Weatherby of Crossbows.

The company couldn't get the production started by Nov. so they lost out on releasing them fer deer season. So now its just when they get some of the in yer face bugs worked out they will sent out. I think those folks wid money will jump and will get burnt! Ouch!
