I use the quad III, sold by tenpoint. It is a compact 40 mm "reddot" type that has 5 brightness settings in both red and green. It has 4 different 3 line, circle, diamondor dot reticles, calibrated for 20, 30 and 40 yrds.

For years I had a red dot on my CB. This year I switched to a V-zone. Jury is still out. I do like the light gathering quality of the scope and I like the low magnifications. I started shooting magnification on my 3D compound setup. I think a little bit helps.

Well i have been a pondering this deal every since i saved up and got my Excal Varizone scope. I have a very good friend give me a nice scope, rifle type to put on my CB. I put it on and it was nice, then i had another very good friend telling me those Varizone scope was just the party winner. So i got one and took off the rifle scope. To me the Varizone would be really nice in open areas, fer Pronghorns, Mulies and whitetails and such. The rifle scope shines in close with its magnafaction and clear glass. Sight it in at 25 yds. and put the xhair on back bone out to 35 yds. and be back straps in the skillet!Just haven't tried them dots enough to jump on their bandwagon!
