I don't use my range dial eather on my Horton Max Impact. I do when I am just shooting for fun at a bail and I try for shots about 50 yards with an old arrow. I would not take a shot at a deer at these distances. I leave it set at 2 because that is what the bow is sighted in for, if the need to shoot a bit farther I would just aim high instead of dialing.

As for the trigger pull, It's great. Mine is stiff but I like just keeping my red dot on the mark and squeezing until it "surprises" me. I know excaliber guys who even admit that is one thing that Horton has nailed their trigger.

i dont use mine, it sucks and i dont know what it does besides mess up my scope[:@]
