Dial-A-Range[Rage]
Just went through this on a PSE Viper buddy[?] brought over. Shooting completely over the target at 50 yds. I started at 10 yds, after I put a battery in the BSA red dot and was barely on the target. Discovered someone had fiddled w/ the PSE version of Dial-A-Rage, but w/ short length of red dot, the angle is not apparent.
I was able to get it to shoot good at 20 w/ setting on "2" but had to go to "4" for 30 yds. "3" shot 6-8" low at 30, so you Viperites might wanna check your rigs vs trusting the ads, lol. My friend[?] had these huge b-heads on his cheap Mal-Wart carbons and wouldn't listen to reason on them or 50 yd shots. He kept three of his bheads barely on a target at 30 yds, said "Good Enough" and left before I could throw his azz out, lol.
Not a bad little bow, imho, and will get the job done well at least to 30, couldn't check any farther at my set up.
There's another thread going on about a problem w/ one of these, here's a trick anyone wanting to pin theirs in one spot can use. Get a straight chunk of 1" dowel rod or broom handle if you're lucky about 16" long and put it in your scope rings. That will exaggerate the angle well enough you can see when it's parallel to your rail. Your scope adj will work once you can keep it in this position.

RE: Dial-A-Range[Rage]
On my PSE Viper it took me many shots to finally figure out why was happening with the dial. I would have it set at 3 and after a few shots getting it dialed in it would just crash and burn. Seems the little bit of recoil from shooting was actually allowing the dial to move. [:@]I got that figured out and fixed the problem and dialed in my 3-dot scope to fine tune it.
They aren't a 50 yard bow by any means, I actually got mine sighted in at 20, 30, 35 yards. Where I hunt that is more than enough, and I would never attempt to take a deer at 40 yards or higher with it. I am patient and can wait for it to come in closer. I don't even take shots over 50 yards with my blackpowder guns even though I know I can lay the smack down on a deer well over 100 yards away like nothing.
As for my setup right now and how I got it dialed in. I can knock a acorn off the top of a squirrels head at 30 yards. I practice often and enjoy shooting it all year long. Wouldn't mind adding another Xbow to my collection but I can't complain about the one I got. I paid $100 for it brand new still in the box and had the 3-dot scope with it also instead of just the peep and pin they are sold with.
Now I am just waiting for Oct. 6 to test it on a live target.
