Time to buy. Need some help!
I know i had mentioned this a good while back but now i finally have all the money so its time to purchase. I'd like to buy a horton as i already have the crank cocking device so all i would have to buy is the new bracket to fit whatever hortoni buy. I'd like to spend $450 at the most. I'd like to find something around the 300fps barrier or better. I was really eyeing up the team realtree 175 like green pea purchased out of the sportsmans guide catalog, but i dont understand how they can sell it for $270 when everyone else wants $500 for the same bow? Is there something seriously wrong with it besides maybe having to get the string replaced? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Deerslayer. Sportsman's guide had the 2005 version that was not completely camoed. It is the same bow, but different makeup. This years package also comes with a hardcase, last years does not. If you are looking at both and SG still has last years, that would be the choice I would pick.

Hey Squirrel, if you were going to do it again would you buy a Horton? This is not a ribbing its a serious question and I have to appologize, I wasn't trying to redirect the purchase to an Exal. It was the other wheel bow, the Ten Point for the same price I was aiming at for the same price at 290 ftps which is a bit faster than my bow and still capable of putting down a moose.
