Default Tenderizing MOOSE

All,

Can someone suggest a good method for tenderizing moose steaks? (I guess it would work for any big game) I have a ton now, and it tastes great, but just pan frying it leaves it a little dry and tough. I' ve just been using a little olive oil.

Thanks!!!!!

Marinate the steaks in soy sauce for an hour before throwing on the BBQ, med-rare. Don not over cook them. Also try marinating them in buttermilk in the fridge overnight, rinse real well and BBQ or panfry Med/med-rare. Being moose, they should be rather large steaks, try cutting on into thin strips and do a stirfry. Good luck with the cooking.

try laying bacon on them as they cook the bacon grease acts as a tenderizer as it cooks and adds flavor also make sure you arte cooking slow high heat will dry out the meat....

Buy some meat tenderizer and sprinkle it on leave it for an hour or so in the fridge. Bamm! you have tender meat without all the fuss and added taste of a marinade. Some times you will want to marinade to get extra flavor for a certain recipe.
