Take an old barbeque grill with you and cut four sticks or stakes with forked ends up. drive them in the ground to be stable and set the rack on top of them to the side of the fire. put your pan or food on grill. If you need extra heat, slide some of the fires coals under the rack. You've got a stove with an outdoor regulator. Works.
