Anything that doesn't come out of a polluted river is just fine for me. I like walleyes because they were made for cleaning unlike the northern pike. I don't really like bigbass when they start to get old because they taste kindove like mud which isn't a good thing.

I'm a crappie man myself. Also can't beat trout or Catfish. (LEMON PEPPER GRILLED)

I don't know of any fish I don't like but my favorites would have to be fresh and not frozen.

Salt Water: Blackened black tip shark
Blackened sand shark
Blackened grouper
Blackened vermillion/red snapper
Blackened swordfish (this is to die for)
Smoked mullet
Fried flounder
Fried whiteing
Permit
I am having a little difficulty in catching these in montana.

Fresh water: walleye
catfish
ling
smoked salmon and rainbows
yellow perch through the ice

I usually go to the local grocery store and makea few casts with a $20 bill and a note saying I want some salmon. Lots of times those little bandits take the bait butonce in a while you catch one.

JK, we usually get the smoked ones as a forrest fire comes through giveing them the smoke flavor but if you try fishing for smoked salmon, sometimes they get blackened if you wait too long.
