Do any of you have the vertical type sausage stuffer? I have a lever hadle type now and hate the thing. So my ? is are the vertical type any easier to use? I don't want to use my grinder because I like chunks of cheese in the sausage.

I have one of the old vertical, I guess you talking about the tank type with the crank handle that you turn and the meat comes out you tube.in Cabela's and bass pro they have the stainless ones. mine is cast iron, about 85 years old.
If thats the type your talking about,I love it when I not making regular sasuage.works great.

I usually use the grinder stuffer most of the time. much easer.

I have this one and love it. I used to use an attachment that fit on my Kitchen aid. But this is much easier.
