Tree Stand Question???????

hey guys got a question hear two things actually. I have a API grand slam tree stand and i was wondering what is the best way to get both the platform and the top section nice and level to the tree so im not facing downward so much?? Also i got the stand used so i have no instructions how do i put it on my back really what i mean is how do i attach the stands together so i can put it on my back thanx ???

When you initially attach to the base of the tree, before climbing, the stand needs to slope toward the tree so that as the tree narrows as you get higher, it will level out. You have to guess how much to slope it initially but with experience you will get better at judging this.
As for packing it: the seat portion stacks on top of the base portion and then you use 3 or 4 straps to cinch the two halves together. From there, you should have straps to pack it into the woods. If they are not on the stand, you can buy them.

Bflem55, Brookie is right about the setting up part. lean back so as you climb it levels out. and when packing the stand they kinda interlock together and instead of using those straps try 2 15 inch bungee cords alot quicker and quieter plus in the dark you dont have to find the slot where the strap goes into. and it holds the stand together better. hope this works it does for me
