Default hunting after rain during pre rut

I have heard to try to get out in your stands after a good rain during the pre-rut. Bucks tend to go back to scrapes to freshen them up. Is there truth to what i heard?

I have found that deer tend to move alot before and after a front pushes through your area. Anytime the barometer is moving up or down, I make it a point to be in the woods.

I've also noticed that deer become more active feeding in the pines after a good rain looking for mushrooms that are sprouting underneath the needles lying on the ground.

Just might be something worth making a note on...
