I'm with ya there... in the same boat. Todays weather was the best we've seen in a month of Sundays, so I'm anxious to get to the gettin' with this fast approaching turkey season. The bow has a new string and cable on it, and I just need a good afternoon to dial 'er in.

I hear ya. I have a big ol gobbler roosting in a tree just about 50 yards in the woods from my back-yard. Every morning and evening I have to hear him gobble! I am eagerly awaiting the opener! I am just hoping my bow is ready to go by then!

Congrats to you buddy. What I wouldn't do to hunt birds this spring. I may just need to go south to where I can buy a tag instead of having to draw one. [:'(] It kills me. I counted at least 13 diffrent birds in my clover plot last fall and there is sign they've been back already this spring. I may just have to get out the diaphram call and just practice calling in the birds.

I just bought a kit with two diaphrams and a video. I walk around a state park, near my home, practicing. However, so far the only thing I have been able to get a sound out of was a crow!
