"You kill Bambi?" - what are your responses?

I only talk hunting with other hunters. If someone were to jump in with "You shoot Bambi?!" I would say how rude it is to eavesdrop on others.
The other response is "You payed someone else to kill cows, pigs and chicken."

Somebody once asked me, "How can you look into those big beautiful eyes and pull the trigger?"
I replied, "Actually, you are trying to puncture their lungs, so the eyes don't play a very big part." Then I complimented him on his nice dead cow shoes.

I disagree with you Scott; I was in my stand yesterday (1 week into Fall bow season in parts of NJ) and I had 4 fawns under my stand still with their spots. However, I don't kill Bambi - I kill Mom and Dad
