I put my dampners about a 1/4 inch off the limb pockets and Simms Ultra's out near the limb cut outs.

The difference is noise on mine with dampeners at the end of limbs vs. at the limb pockets was pretty substantial.

Put them right by the limb pockets and you'll be happiest.

Left the hush kit at the limb pockets and put Sims Limbsavers on. Very happy with this set up.

All the way to the limb pockets, I've also added a pair of large Sims LimbSaver Ultra's, 1" away from the limb cam groove.

Very Intersting I moved my limb dampners closer to the cam at the point where the limbs start to get thicker. I did have them by the limb pockets but when a buddy of mine pointed out to me that it sounded louder than when he first heard the bow(Dampners closer to the cams). (I moved them to the position close to the cams when I first got the bow then moved them back to the limb posckets). With my Old Glory it is quietest with the dampners closest to the cams. Completely backwards from everyone else. Well if you knew me you'd understand this is the norm for me[8D]
