so for people with a shorter draw lenth brace height isn't as important? I have another post on here asking about the pse mach 12, it was a brace height of 6.75 i think. I was wondering if this would be enough for a person with a 26.5-27 inch draw

There are ways to get the bisket to wrok even with the low ATA. It means shooting a longer arrow but over on the Oneida site they talk about it. With my brace at 6.25 (Before doing some twisting to bring the brace back up a little) 4 inch vanes just made contact with the WB. But now I shoot a trap door so I don't have that problem.
I would enver say that brace isn't important for any shooter. I'm just of the opinion that shorter draw people can get away with less brace than longer draw people. Just like shorter stature people can often get away with shorter ATA heights and still have a forgiving bow than guys who are 6 foot 10 inches tall..

If in doubt go with a bow with a long brace height and good speed. I don't think there is any gain on a short BH bow. All the new stuff is fast, smooth and quiet. I think bow with a 7 1/2 BH will do the job and eliminate some of the issues that crop up with some of those speed demons.
