Default who can relate?

Season starts here in Texas in 18 days. I awoke up in the middle of the night last night and can't get my enthusiasm under control. I had a tough time going back to sleep as my thoughts are out in the woods with my gear.

I know how you feel, but I've got a lot longer to wait than you do here in WV

My body is in WI. every night, but my mind is in the Ontario bush. 10 more, check that, 9 more sleepless nights and a 12 hour drive. Yes, I can relate.

17 days for me and I've just gone into my eliminating all the possibilities of errors and mistakes mode. I've been practicing for months and now I'm thinking about all the little dumb things I've done and all the murphey law bad luck things that's happened that I might can eliminate and just generally trying to put it all together in these last 17 days. I'm constantly thinking about that deer coming thru the woods and when to pull back and when to release or should I hold for another day or maybe there's a deer behind me I havn't seen and when I pull back it's going to blow and spook everything or have I cleared all the limbs in the arrow path or is my bow limbs going to hit something when I release or is there something on my clothing the string can hang on and is all my equipment in top shape and are all the screws tight or making sure my finger ain't on the trigger when pulling back and all that stuff, etc. I think about it constantly and I love it and yep, I'm excited.
