Default Tekan broadheads?

Anyone here use these heads yet? They look pretty interesting. I have always used fixed blade heads but I am always messing around trying new things......

Haven't use them because they are illegal in NY, and some other states too. Check your hunting regulations before using them.

I used them along with G-5's Montecs.
I have to say that I am not a real fan of expandables. But with that said I shot 3 deer and no problems at all, passthroughs, I shot a 210 lbs. boar looking at me quartering to me, right through the neck, it went through him and came out right behind the opposite side leg bone. I have to say that they preformed as well as any broadhead I have ever used.

Not trying to encourage anyone to use a fixed or mechanical but I have to admit, they worked as well as any head I have seen.
I would/will use them in the future.
I have the hog shot on video too.

They are a decent enough head, but not the best mechanical design I have tried. I put them in the middle of the pack as far as durabilty goes, very accurate and ok sharp.

These are also Illegal here in Illinois as they are considered "barbed" heads.

I think the snyper is a better overall head. Larger blades and faster opening. The Tekan ferule is stronger, but the Snyper blades are stronger. You will also get a much larger entrance wound with the snypers.
