What I've heard is that the consistancy about the straightness of these shaft's was an issue ,I seen a post on the Technical forum the other day it might have also been the Gear in review forum but I did read about it.

It was more of an issue with consistant spine. There were many reports about the spine degrading on them over time. I hope you guys have better luck out of them than a lot of guys did. I read many posts on this forum and others about this problem.

Personally, I'm intigued by the slim technology and will probably end up trying some of the Easton A/C Super Slims instead.

Okay now we busted out the chronograph and arrow scale. My Easton Axis ST 340's cut to 30" with a 100gr field tip, nock and vanes weigh 433 grains. I know, kinda on the heavy side. Shooting through the chronograph I shot 284 fps with a 30" draw set at 70lbs and an 80% let off. Once again (unlike what I've been reading), I'm shooting dimes at 20 yards. My grouping is pin point. Now over time who knows? For now, I'm giving the Easton Axis ST 340's a two thumbs up. Hope this helps some of you that have been following my trials with these arrows. Till next time..........

I've been shooting the 340's for almost a year now and I love them. I have been shooting the same arrows that i started late last february. I have just started noticing that my groups are opening up a little bit. These arrows have each been shot probably 15 tiimes daily for almost a year. I am extremely pleased with these arrows, the penetration was great on every animal I killed this year. I had a complete passthrough on a doe at 51 yards late in november. My setup is this:

Hoyt Razotec
71lbs
28.5" draw
axis 340 at 27 3/4" (i shoot a dropzone so my arrow is shorter than my drawlength)
Magnus stinger 4-blade 100 gr.

Finally someone who has positive things to say about them besides me. If they've lasted you a full year shooting that much then I'll say you got your moneys worth. I'm liking what I've seen so far.
