For one thing Buck Magnet you cannot once and for all set the record straight as you have not been present on the realtree hunts and no one with any brains believes everything they are told. No company wants to look bad in the eyes of their public. that is not to say that team realtree is doing anything wrong at all only that I cannot afford to pay to hunt in all those states and on all those ranches.
Yes if I could I would most hunters I know would love to be able to travel around the country all fall and hunt only hugh bucks but unfortunately most of us have to work for a living and cannot afford to do that.

Yes I do watch the hunting shows and no I dont buy any videos but most are right the shows are to commerical But I also realize that is how they are able to bring them to us, Also I feel that most are too politicaly correct they dont show the hit and cut out a lot to save time I could go on and on but it is useless some will always agrre and some will not.

Straightarrow where do you get off saying that to 95% of us if its brown its down and act as if we would shoot a person if they were dressed in brown you my friend are ignorant and one of the reasons that the anti's use us against each other. I have not taken a lot of deer that scored more that 130 but I DO HAVE ONE and that was killed in southern WV on open land where a deer scoring 100 is considered large no I dont pass many but I also do pass on some. I am proud of even the does I have taken with my bow and if you want to come on down my way I will take you out and you can sit there all season and pass on all the deer.

Theres nothing wrong with not liking the way the video is made. This is America, Buy someone elses.

Just because they ARE fortunate enough to hunt for a living, why put them down, you sound resentful!
I know I wish I could!
The point is They have to work hard to obtain a few Large Bucks each year.
Why?
Because most people are buying their videos to see those bucks. If there wasn't a need (a commodity) for his product he would stop. Obviously there are more people interested than not.
The point is enjoy or tune out, But to put a fellow hunter down to make your hunting experiences seem more successful (in your mind) is rediculous.
Nothing personal, but hopefully you and others of the same opinion will lighten up a little.

I get off saying it, because it's completely true. The fact that many on this forum do not fall into the category, is purely due to the fact that these forums tend to attract the more hard core hunters, of which many are selective. By and large, the masses shoot the first thing that comes by.

Presumptuous and uninformed on <u>both</u> accounts!

I think that the bottom line is that these guys hunt land that is beyond the average hunters reach. On these properties, bucks are managed through food plots and selective hunting. These are also huge plots of land so there is a good chance that the deer remain within the hunting zones. In addition, the Canadian hunts are basically the same ones that anyone else can go on for $3k+. Nothing wrong with any of this and it's really just a matter of connections and money.

Hunters should just see these videos as entertainment and pure enjoyment with the hopes of picking up some tips along the way.

I think that Bill and the Real Team guys do a great job and always talk about getting kids involved.

Realize these guys are living a dream that only some will ever know! Yes if you have the money and time you can do exactly what there doing. I love seeing those tapes and if you think its easy to film deer with three guys in tree, its not. I have been invited with production team this year and will get to see first hand how hard it is. Guys enjoy life to the fullest. Bill Jordan and his crew is!

I am new here, but you guys obviously bought the video or at least watched the video. They are making a living from their videos. Nothing wrong with that. You would do the same if you had the opportunity to make a video also. You did not watch it to see them shoot a 2x2 buck. You can hunt the same places they do, but it costs you a lot of money. That is why its on video, because most of us cannot afford to hunt there. They are GREAT!!! videos, and I will continue to buy them for entertainment for myself. I hunt from Oct-Dec and I shoot 3 deer and maybe an antelope, I hope that this limited number of deer I do shoot does not disqualify my opinion. And yes, 2 of those deer will be shot with a rifle anywhere from 100 to 300 yards.

I think someone else must have missed the point to assume that I have the lest bit of jelousy toward anyone who hunts and kills a hugh deer is on your part presumptuous I have never been envious of anyone.

I dont know where in my post anyone saw that I was only being envious yes I did say that if I could afford it I would hunt those places and I would if I had the money I would hunt every state and every ranch that I could book in a year that doesnt make me envy anyone.

I also stated that I dont buy videos at all and I dont yes I have saw some of them and found them to be of interest someone missed my point I was talking about the tv shows and sometimes I do just turn to another station.

I did get to hunt in Montana a few years back by winning a hunt I never scored on anything did pass up on a few small ones (muledeer) guess I didnt kill them because they were not brown.

As for the signature pic yes I knew that and if it bothers anyone that much I can always quit using it.

No where did I say that any of the realtree or any others didnt deserve what they got but anyone that thinks that it is such a hard job to go somewhere to hunt where you have guides and food plots and your pick of deer does not truly know the meaning of hard work.

Tell me your joking, or maybe I'm missing something, but if I was an anti-hunter, I could come up with a million better examples to promote my cause, other than a relatively benign comment on a website. No - make that 2 million and all of them far more graphic, detailed and effective.
