Knee room will make for uncomfortable hunting, I bought a buckshot magnum stand year before last and it offers more room than some others. Take a look at their web page, I think they have all the measurements on there. They make fine stands, about the best bowhunting platform I have used.

I had the summit viper and it was comfortable but my Knees would hit the bar. I bought the revolution this year and it seems to be the ticket. I'm 6'2" and you can kick back in this lay your feet on the bar plus with the way it is laid out it I leave my bottom platform down a little farther than I did with the viper and you can just roll your butt and you in a standing position with out a lot of movement.

Sag; I just checked www.docsrecliner.com and it was still running. My recliner weighs in at 29 pounds w/foot climber. Somethings are worth the weight. But I too have been wondering about the Summit Revolution...

les1cam,

Thanks for the information.
Looks like the site is up again.
I notice, there is some new information. That could be why it was down last week.
My old Recliner is fairly comfortable but I wish even it was a tad longer.
Les, do you know the lenght of your Doc's stand ?
I wonder how it compares to the extended Tree Lounge in length ?
Does anyone out there own a Summit Revolution ?
Or API Grand Slam Supermag ?
They both look pretty comfortable.

Sag.

I bought one of the Docs recliners years ago. Loved it for gunhunting hated it for bow. The way you sit in makes it tough to stand up to draw. It also hinges and if you get on a real hard tree it can be kinda of a pain to come down. My doc's is down in the woods hanging a 100yards from a pine bedding area. I haven't taken it out of the woods for 3 years. Once or twice a year close to rut I will hike back to this area check it out and climb up. It was easy to put together but it could be pretty noisy at times. Its well made product but for me it was to heavy to noisy don't get me wrong it was way too comfortable but at a price, I feel like with the revolution I have the best of both worlds. Some day I'm going to drag that doc's out and probably sell it.

Sag,

Yes, I guess I was slacking a little bit when it comes to reading the full title of your post...blame it on my 4 month old!

I can help you a little bit more though. My brother-in-law is around 6'1"-6'2" and weighs around 310-320 lbs. He bought the API Grand Slam Super Mag last autumn and has been very happy with it. The way I figure it is that if a guy that big can be comfortable in it then I am sure you can......even with that dang "long" bow of yours...
