RE: Climbing Tree Stands for tall hunters ?
I bought one of the Docs recliners years ago. Loved it for gunhunting hated it for bow. The way you sit in makes it tough to stand up to draw. It also hinges and if you get on a real hard tree it can be kinda of a pain to come down. My doc's is down in the woods hanging a 100yards from a pine bedding area. I haven't taken it out of the woods for 3 years. Once or twice a year close to rut I will hike back to this area check it out and climb up. It was easy to put together but it could be pretty noisy at times. Its well made product but for me it was to heavy to noisy don't get me wrong it was way too comfortable but at a price, I feel like with the revolution I have the best of both worlds. Some day I'm going to drag that doc's out and probably sell it.
