No, with conventional bows, the lower the let off, the faster the bow will go.
GVDocHoliday knows exactly what I'm talking about. I have seen him in the chat room before. I believe he has a Stealth with 90% let off.

A lower let off will help you achieve more speed. This is because when you draw the bow back and are only holding 65% of the weight vs. 75-80% of the weight, more of the energy is being stored in the limbs, causing the arrow to have more speed when the arrow is released.

Heres one Stealth that I know of that has 95% let off. I left a messege on the forums and he said him self (the owner of the this bow)that, him and the guy who did the upgrade did seperate tests and there was zero speed loss at lower and higher let off.
54#
29"
95% let off
300 grain arrow
280fps
Just think what it would do at IBO speeds.

Does everybody realize that no matter 50, 65, or 80% let off, as long as the poundage on the bow is proper, you'll kill any deer with good shot placement. I know grunt grunt grunt me man must make bigger must make badder. I've shot with 65% and now shoot with 80% let off and both work just fine for hunting. OBTW that Oneida Stealth looks like it has a Nuge camo pattern from Renegade (pretty cool).

I am using 80% let-off.Yes the more let-off you use the slower your bow will shoot but you will never notice it though.
Funeralplanner I did notice you are shooting a lite arrow.I do realize its 5 grains per pound giving you 345 at 69 lbs.Just a word of precaution, you are shooting the lightest arrow for your setup.
Are you shooting this setup for 3D?
And please dont shoot any lighter or your warrenty will be void on your new allegiance should something let go.None of my business, just a word of precaution.

I've never shot an oneida of any sort. Does it shoot as smooth as some of the top of the line bows out there? Just curious I guess.
