Just Curious.. I'm a rookie so this is the first winter that i'm storing my bow, and I was curious as to what actions other people take with their bows before settin' em to rest and recharge for a few months. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Why ever would you want to put it to rest for a few months? Keep shooting. I have never put my bow to rest for more than a few days but if you are going to put it in storage for a few months or longer I personally would back the pondage to the min and store it in a case and it should be fine just maybe wax the string every so often.

Practice makes perfect don't put it away, buy a target, stash it in the woods if you have to. The more often you practice the better you get. Weather-wind-sun -rain-snow you never know what conditions you may be hunting in year to year. You may hunt in a tee shirt one year and the next year you may hunt in a parka. Practice in the same clothes you may hunt in. Your choice

STORAGE? What's that? I saw a catch phrase in here somewhere............
A day not getting to shoot your bow is a day wasted or something like that. Keep that thing out and shoot it when you wanna watch tv or something. I live in northern mn and I shoot outdoors when it's snowing or below zero. Here you never know!!
