2001 biggest bucks
#11
Daily, my buddy Tom killed his 190 3/8" typical 10-point in Pike Co.,Illinois just outside the town of Rockport, which is about 6 miles north of Heartland lodge. He was actually about 3 trees away from where Mark Drury killed his 195" buck in 1998. The neat thing is that my buddy hunts that ground free of charge, and he lets me hunt with him for a few days before I go to my leased ground to hunt. I don`t have any digital photos of the deer to post, but will try to scan a photo to put on here.

Around oct or nov of last year KSHunter posted the pics for me and I filled in the nitty gritty. I have never been sucessfull with the search function or I would try to find it for you.
He really just got extremely lucky while doing a little early season scouting and found a dead deer on private property that as far as he knew had never been seen by anyone. He's having a shoulder mount done of it.
Pike County Indiana, by the way.

You guys are making me feel pretty bad! Mine from 2001 did weigh in @ an impressive 275#, but scored 135" as a 9 point.
Hey, my buddy took a 190 3/8" in illinois, and I saw it before he shot it! Does that get me any brownie points?<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
