Does anyout out here know of a good safety harness? the ones that i have make me feel very restricted and it is like i cant even shoot to my back right. The one i have is a gorilla full body harness.

I like the Summit safety harness. I believe it was called Seat O The Pants last year. A great and comfortable system. If you hunt fixed stands you can't beat their climbing system. With most of the safety harnesses you won't be able to shoot behind you very well if they are attatched correctly.

Another vote for the Summit. I have a couple of the Gorilla harnesses that came with my stands & have tried to use them in the past. You're absolutely right about them being very restrictive. The teather on the back can't be more than a foot long. Feels like you've been tied to the tree. Check out the Summit. I think you'll be pleased.

But don't get rid of that Gorilla harness. I really like the way the climbing system works. That's what I wear when I'm hanging my stands in the pre-season. Gorilla for hanging, Summit for hunting.

thanks alot for all of the post looks like summit is the winner i will be ordering one tonight. I found that early in the season that the gorilla was so restrictive i just quit wearing one, and now i hear about people falling from trees while hunting and are now in a wheelchair. So i am buying a summit and going to wear it every time.

The SOP Fastback harness is my favorite. It allows complete movement and safety. The fastback harness also does not tangle like many others will.
