Mie lasted for about a year and the fiber got fragile and broke. [:@] I know several people with a Dusk Devil sight, and have not have a problem with them at all.

Just my 2c

Other than the fact that I modified my site to accept the pin I have had no problems at all. It has proved to be durable and reliable.

That said they are not legal in all States.

I have a tritium pin that is 6 years old and still works fine. Maybe not quite as brite as the day I bought it, but I can still see it in complete blackness. It is nice because it illuminates just enough to not drowned out the target. In my opinion, fiber optics just don't cut it for late season bow hunting when the deer are so cautious and aren't moving until the final minutes of legal hunting hours. I had a hard time seeing the fiberoptics once I placed them on the dark colored deer. Tried a lighted sight and a separate light for my fiber optics, but that was too brite and a pain. The tritium works great for me. The only thing I don' t like is the tritium pin I have has a rather large diameter. They make a fine point one now that I think I would prefer. I too had to modify might sight bracket to get the pin to fit right. Definately one of my favorite pieces of equipment.
