Way to go. People don't kill enough does. This passing up deer for big bucks hurts the agriculture alot of hunt on or near. I also shot a do this year and a button buckand had to sit and cover my scent and call and scout and the whole bit and I'll be damned if anyone tells me that's not hunting. Bottom line is that I'm eating deer this year and alot of those "trophy" hunters probably aren't.

I wouldn't worry about your buddy and what he says. I imagine he won't be happy if you shot a bigger buck then his biggest some day. Enjoy your hunting. The only one you need to please is yourself.

trust me a deer is a deer and filed dressing at 135 is not abad sized doe.. So just keep on killin'
