Yeah, I was surprised how big he is as far as mass in velvet and how much he lost when shed, don't get me wrong he's an incredible buck and I wouldn't hesitate on him...WOW and I wish the best of luck to you to cross paths with this monster again. At the very least, I hope you get pics of him next year to compare...wow indeed.

They really do have a sixth sence when it comes to close encounters. On a bright note he look to still be fairly young so hopefull he'll be that much bigger next year.

Great story and nice looking buck. I'm certain he'll be a better looking deer come next fall. Most of us wish we just had a chance at such a buck. Good work on the scouting and best of luck next time!

Thanks for all the comments. I sure hope I get a chance at him again next year. I have already started scouting him again for next season. I just hate that I have to wait 11 more months before I can hunt him again.
