Breeding age????
I was out hunting last week and saw a button buck tending a doe. He seemed to know what he was looking for. I know that a yearling doe can be bred in a late rut if she was born early enough in the spring. But do you think a yearling buck can bread a doe if he is capable of reaching? Watching that button buck was one of the funniest things that I think I have encountered. He had his nose to the ground just like his bigger counterparts.

RE: Breeding age????
Hee hee hee. The size difference between a button buck and a mature doe reminds me of a saying that my dad used to use when describing a short guy that dates a tall girl...
"Nose to nose your toes are in it, toes to toes your nose is in it!"
