I wouldn't suggest going that high unless you've practiced a couple times at that height. How far would you have to lead a slow walking deer? 1/2 mile or so?

Just make sure you are scent free, the deer can still smell you from there!

And by the way, using a bow is useless, things all fall at a constant rate, halfway down the added thrust from your bow is negated, it just becomes a falling arrow as though you dropped it by hand.

Have to have great eye/hand coordination though. Like target spitting.
