Tonight, I sat on stand in between the swamp and a ridge/feeding area. From down in the bottom of the swamp a buck grunted. I was wondering if I should have grunted back or tried to wait him out. I waited him out but he just ended up milling around the swamp till dark... What should I have done?

Maybe grunt and rattle... that might have brought him out looking for the intruder
