I agree. Never seen a deer give a second look at deercain but they will dig a stump out of the ground if you pour stumplicker on it. If it is legal where you live throw some corn out. It is cheap and a universal hit with deer!

I live in Ohio and we use Deer Cane every year for the last 5 years. Once the deer find it they destroy it. Big bucks only hit it in the middle of the night though(trail cam). I have seen small bucks fight to stick their nose in it. By far the best we have found to date is the tinks sticks. They bring deer in almost every time except when its raining. The smoke travels well and the stuff seems to hang around for at least a day. (start them in the morning and there still is some attraction for an evening hunt) If you use them make sure you use a tube they burn to fast out in the open.

My only experience was a few weeks ago in bow season I put some deer attractant out under my climber and down at the feeder. My moms dog waddled up and followed my trial I walked in on then rolled in the spot I put out the attractant in and went back to the house to flop up on the couch to go back to sleep I am sure.
I now call it dog attractant.
I did see 5 deer that day and all but the fawn stayed away from where I was at but the white acorns were all about. THe deer have stopped hitting my feeder and I keep it out and feeding 12 months of the year with corn. I am sure I feed more squirells and rabbits than deer tho.
