Keeping a hunting journal!
#11
I think its a good idea to keep an journal definetly because say in 20, 30, 40 + years down the road and most likely when the memory isn't quite as good as it was in the day, your children, grandchildren and grand +, could read the accounts. I didn't start my own hunting journal until i got into bowhunting which is little bit over a year ago. I haven't had much of a chance to go after any big game yet but i'l be moving to Texas near year so i am expecting (and hoping) that'll change. I wrote down a few stories while doving hunting but that isn't quite the same. "I sat there, dove came back, bam! got it!" lol.
