And oh, BTW, don't take accessories you didn't buy from the shop to them to put on. They don't give the best service when you do that.
All the more reason to go somewhere else .
A shop that doesn't do their best all the time is unprofessional and will never give satisfactory service in the long run regardless of what they sell . Might as well be going to Wally World and doing your own installations .

When you are paying somebody 20 bucks for about a half hour of work, i better damn well be quality work!! JMO That is about the worst excuse I have heard. If that dealer wants you to buy stuff in his shop, he needs to do what he can to have comparable prices on equipment.

Head up to Bluff Creek Outfitters in Vancleave. They did me right a few years ago when I bought my Q2.

I'm just stating facts bud. They would rather not put on a rest that you didn't buy from them. They are probably really busy setting up bows that were bought from them with parts that were bought at the shop. They have to take time out of that to put your rest on for $20(installed for free if bought at shop) that you bought at Wallyworld for $2 less. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, just business. I would personally never take a part in to get installed that I didn't buy from the shop.

Zak!

I think I'd be raising hairy cary on your bowshop about this espeacially if you paid them to install your new rest.
As for the bow press I bought one from Walk's With A Gimp I'll send you his addy ,it's very cheap compared to the cost of other presses and it work's very well,it's biult tough and won't break the bank .

Don't get me wrong here shadow, I understand what you are talking about. They would rather work on equipment purchased in there shop...and that is understandable. But they could have told him no and sent him packing. But instead, they charged him around 40 bucks an hour for crappy work....that is what is not right about the whole deal.

No different than a plumber charging you to fix pipes and not fixing them completly and wanting paid for it. I bet nobody would be happy about that.

if i understand you correctly you're going to have to get the rest off of the bow and heat that screw area with a lighter until the glue melts a bit to get it out. or you could take a drill with a metal bit a bit smaller than the hole the screw goes into and drill it out the same way you would if the head of the screw came off, however if you're not an expert at this you could damage the receptor threads the screw uses to bite. that sucks. i would not under any condition go back in that shop. what makes you think it'll get done right the 2nd time, or third? you need to go look and find a good shop, and in the meantime start learning how to do your own work imo. if i remember correctly the tt uses the black rope that is the same as loop rope. go buy a foot at a different shop and take the rest and ask the person if they have a screw that will fit. i've done it in the past and they usually have all kinds of spairs. the tt website has very detailed installation instructions and tuning tips that i'm sure you can follow. you will need a press or string separator though, or you can just serve it on the cable. good luck. its really not worth raising a stink about with the shop imho. they already proved they are rear ends. wwag (walkswithagimp) makes a press that is easy to use and very affordable. good luck there brother.

Go spend 20 bucks and get a center shot tool a square and a book and learn how to do this yourself. The proshop guys know their way of tuning but it maybe leaving you short of tuned. The guys at my local shop are the nicest guys around and will spend plenty time shooting the sh*t but they eyeball everything! Thats looks close, thighten the screws and send you off. There isn't much to it and if something goes wrong in the field that guy isn't going to be there for you is he?

It isn't really yours until you take it apart and put it back together again!

The pro shop from hell huh? im pleased with the one i go to..Jerry has offered to drop by the house to fix something if he's over this way..you shoulda bought the rest through the shop instead of buying it somewhere and having them put it on..you do get better service. you shoulda noticed misalignment right away. you shoulda shot right at the pro shop to verify it being it. at the one i go to, he doesnt let you out if it isn't right..you could adjust and shoot and adjust and shoot for an hour until its perfect..i think in your case its part your fault, part theirs.
