I think I'd be raising hairy cary on your bowshop about this espeacially if you paid them to install your new rest.
As for the bow press I bought one from Walk's With A Gimp I'll send you his addy ,it's very cheap compared to the cost of other presses and it work's very well,it's biult tough and won't break the bank .
