Ok Try this. you wont be sorry then post the pic here. the rut is here just do this and you will have bucks all over you. Ok go buy a large amount of doe in heat urine. I use buck fever but I think most work. then before light hit the woods about 1/2 mile from your stand put urine in a spray bottle and walk in as straight of a line to your stand as you can, the whole time you are walking spray the doe in heat on trees the ground anything you come close to, then on a limb in your shooting lane out about 15 yards put up a sponge that is totally soaked in urine. You ever see hounds go after a bear??? A friend told me to do this and I thought he was nuts. I spent about 20 dollars in urine for this one day. It was nov 3 in Michigan and I kid you not before it was light I had deer comming in. I had seven bucks come in on the sent trail right to the sponge and I shot the biggest one. not 5 min. later another one came in and the another and yet another. That January I went into the navy and Have never lived in whitetail country since but My friend gets a deer everytime he does this. if they are ruttin this is a forsure tactic. I want to see the pics... Go get them boys.

Sounds like a plan. Only problem is thats a lot of $$$ on lure. But once full rut comes in I'll try about anything. I'll of course post to let you know how it goes.

Might have to save this tip for the team stalker22,yes could get costly on the urine but if it bring's them in like that then it just might be worth it ,it would probably be more like 60$ here.

I do this every year and yes it does work. I buy a quart of doe in heat from a deer farm in PA. I saturate a 50 yard radius out in front of my stand an spray my boot soles every 75 yards when I walk to my stand. I have had bucks follow my trail like a bloodhounds. I am going to try the spay bottle method his year. I am going to spay the creek bottom trail that leads up to a hilltop field funnel to my decoy 15 yards from my stand. This method works the best when bucks are cruising. I also hunt all day when I use this tactic. The scent stays fresh in the woods for a few days unless it rains heavy. I buy 1 quart of urine and it last me a full season. It must be kept in the fridge when not in use. I buy it from Penn farms in PA for $35 a quart. This is the real stuff and does not look or smell like the urine you purchase at walmart, it comes fresh straight from the Doe bottled and sent directly to my house.

Where can I buy doe urine by the gallon here in S. Illinois? I'll try anything once...well almost anything.

You're right, Cardeer, but when you see what some of the guys on here (myself included, to a lesser extent) spend a year on new gear, lease payments, travel expenses, etc. the deer are already well, WELL over $100/lb. Not saying anything is wrong with this, just pointing out the actually cost of venison. Many of us could eat filet mignon darn near all year long for what we pay to get 60-80 lbs. of venison.

I've done that it works well sometimes,cost does get high,I also just like to buy a 50 pound bag of deer feed and that brings in the does,And we all know what follows the does.
