Default How does this stand sound

Yesterday while doing some hunting/scouting i came across what i think is a staging area. I found a secluded overgrown field, with an apple orchard in the middle of it. In the woods about 75-100 yards off the field i think i found an awesome afternoon stand. There are two separate rub lines running to the field and one that left, parallel to the field. There are also about three scrapes with rubs surrounding them. First off does this sound like a good place to hang a stand? Also in your opinion will this area continue to produce bucks over the next few years or not? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like it has the potential to produce for you. The scrape lines make me think it'll be a better morning stand though. The best way to know for sure would be to get out and hunt it. If I had found a spot like that I'd try to get in and hunt it all day for a day and see what sort of movement is in the area. You may be correct that they are staging in there ar you may find that they are passing through early in the morning to get back to their bedding areas. either way the best way to find out is to get in there and hunt.

Good luck!
