Mine generally cusses me out for being too loud............yells at me not to wake the baby..................and bitches me out when I get home about being gone all day ! My shot of leg may come around in the summer after turkey season has been out a month or two !! [8D]

My morning routine ...............is get up and get dressed.........and go !! I used to have a big routine.............but not anymore !

Wash and dry all my hunting clothes the night before.
Pack my truck the night before.
Shave my head the night before.
Lay awake in bed for an hour or 2 thinking about where to set up with the forecast weather conditions.
Wake up and restart the dryer with a fresh earth scent sheet.
Take a shower with unscented soap.
Walk down in the basement and put on hot clothes fresh from the dryer.
Grab a can of MtDew.
Put my boots on outside.
Reconsider where to set up with the current weather while I'm driving.
Spray off with scent elimination spray before heading out to stand.
I do this exact routine every time - and I hunt 3 times a week as well as work full time and take evening classes. It gets to be a hassle but I get close to lots of deer every time out since I've started doing this.

I jump out of bed, sometimes before the alarm goes off. Get in the shower and use all my scent proof items. I then get dressed in my regular clothes. I grab a pop and a chocolate bar for quick energy and get off to my stand. All my gear is loaded so I put on my camo when I get to my site and change into my rubber boots. I scent proof all these items and check my arrows and bow to make sure everything is in line. I then head to my stand at least 45 minutes before first light.
During gun seasons I also listen to "Da Thirty Point Buck" by the Bananas at Large.

Is it nice to know that I am not the only one who "thinks too much". My gear is loaded the night before, and I shower the night before with scent free soap. Now some may say this defeats the purpose of scent elimination by showering the night before. I disagree. In the morning, I start the coffee, and think about what stand I am going to go to that morning. I drive approx. 30 minutes to where I hunt, and I usually listen to the outdoor talk show during the drive. Once I get to the farm, I spray with HS Scents with Fresh Earth scent. This stuff is AWESOME!!! I put a scent wafer on my hat, get the gear and go!!! I smell so much like dirt I should have grass growing off of me!!!! My wife always says "good luck" before I leave. If I am lucky, I get a "booty call" the night before. Which always sends me to the woods with a smile on my face!!!!

I pretty much do the same stuff as everyone else.
I scent free shower the night before........have all under clothes washed in scent free soap and in my bag with Earth wafers in it.........I get dressed in my under layers and hit the road. I get my coffee elsewhere. Any of you guys that don't know what a Tim Horton's coffee is are really missing out!!!
When I get to the field I take out my coat and pants and boots from a scent free sealed bag with Earth wafers in it and get dressed. I spray my stand with Fresh Earth scent and head for the woods.
When I leave my hunting area after the first hunt I grab some of the fallen foliage and put it in my bag with my clothes (if I am gonna hunt there next hunt) I figure that it can't be a bad thing to smell like the twigs and leaves that are on the ground at your hunting spot..........if nothing else it shouldn't smell out of place to a deer.
Then I sit in my stand and wonder if any of that crap is really necessary
I always laugh when slack off on my scent control and see a bunch of deer.

Get up without making a peep (1.5yo and newborne in the house). I situate everything the night before and pack. I wash my face downstairs, pop the contacts in and get dressed. Back the truck out of the driveway which is packed the night before without it started as to not wake the little ones (could be the difference between me leaving or staying. I'm sure everyone with little ones know what I mean). Off I go.
I try to stay away from the coffee unless I get up real early to take care of business; however, with the newborne, getting to bed early is never an option so this season I prefer the extra sleep.

I get up, let the dog out, check the weather, find something to feast on, take scent free shower, get half dressed in the garage, walk about 1/4 of a mile, put on my camo, spray down with earth scent. Takes me about an hour til im sitting in my stand.
