I will be in the market for a good backyard target soon. I shoot muzzy broadheads with practice blades when I practice. Currently my target is THE HOLE, and it is a good target, but lately, when I pull the broadhead out, it pulls out pieces of the layers. In some places it is so bad that it almost goes all the way through the target. I have drawn circles all over this thing and I am running out of room on it.
I saw an advertisement in a magazine for the Morrell Yellow Jacket broadhead target, and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. It supposedly has a special coated foam that closes back up after you pull the broadhead out. I wanted to see if anyone has used one and if it is worth the money. I think it is only $44 online. If anyone wants to read about it, the website is www.morrelltargets.com The season opens tomorrow in Louisiana!! This time tomorrow I will be where I am supposed to be....in the woods!!

I used The Hole last year and it shredded to pieces sooner than I expected.I have been using the Yellow Jacket target for only several weeks so I can't say how durable it will be. So far it seems to be a good solid target and you can shoot into each side. The only complaint I have is it takes a little more effort to remove the broadheads than from The Hole. Good Luck!
