Default shoot thru screens/mechanicals?

Has anyone actully shot a mechanical broadhead through these? all the stuff I've seen says you can do it but it sounds like they are just trying to sell me a blind. I am thinking of trying a blind for turkeys this spring. any help would be apreciated! thanx Don

This past season I did a little bit of testing with a rocket steelhead and the Double Bull shoot-thru netting. I set the netting up on my tuning stand with my chrono behind. The netting consistantly knocked off 4 fps (286 => 282). The holes left in the netting were suprisingly small and the mechanical did not open until it impacted my target. Double Bull recommends using two rubber bands on the mechanicals, but I had the same results from using either one or two rubberbands.

IL have a Double Blind. I have killed everything I have shot at. Turkey and Deer. I use Rocket and Muzzy, never had a rocked fail. It is cool the way it works, I have had turkey and deer walk up and look in the net. If you want to chat. [email protected]
