No I would not. Seems most here agree. I've seen other archery MB's where you'd probably get a 50/50 split if not higher for those who WOULD take it.

A guy that I used to work with shot one in the head dropped it right there( the arrow went in about three inches) but I have to admit I can't see myself even trying that shot

Most that have spine shot a deer really regreted it after wards. If you have any feelings for these animals at all its not the way to go. It is not a very pretty sight. It does work if you don't want them to run away though. I have seen it done, and I don't think I could bring myself to do it. I don't think I would take a neck shot with a bow either. I might try it with a high powered rifle, but I bet when it came down to it, I would pass on that as well.

Well I always shoot for a DOUBLE LUNG..

But since you asked.. NECK OR SPINE... I would definately shoot for spine... But remember, the spine is also in the neck...

heart or lung always! i wouldnt take a neck or spine shot ever.
