Default Alpha Burly Sports

Are these boots uninsulated? I get the impression they would be a good early season boot.

I have them.......lightly insulated. Great early season boots and I wear mine down to about 40 degrees. Then I put on the big boys...........

I have them as well. They do not have Thinsulate in them like the newest version of the Alpha Burly but because of their contruction/materials I would think that they would keep your feet relatively warm in moderate weather (highs in the upper 40's/50's). I bought a pair to use for the early part of our archery season so I will get to test just how late they work into the season.

I wear the Alpha Burly's in 35-40 degrees with a heavy sock and stay warm. Just buy them a size larger for the extra heavy sock and room to breathe

I got a pair a few weeks ago, wearing a medium weight wool or poly pro sock I've been comfortable from 65 to 35 degrees ( as cold as it's gotten here). They seem about 20 pounds lighter than my old Burley boots and that's why I got them.

LaCrosse has really expanded their Alpha Burly Sport line for this season. They are NOW available in uninsulated, 800gm, 1000gm, and Macks Praire Wings even offers the NEW 1500 gram version. I have 2 pairs of them and love 'em! They are indeed THE most comfortable rubber boots I've ever worn!

I'm completely satisfied with mine. I switch to warmer boots in the cold weather. For early season, or still hunting, they are very good boots.
