I'm freakin' disgusted........
They finally after 3 weeks sent me a replacement camera. Guess what? It sux on the batteries just like the first one.
Check this out....9 days on a tree, medium setting, only 1 pic per triggering...........
6 daytime pics, and 3 flash pics.........BATTERIES DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And i have no idea when they died, could have been after day 3. The date thing screwed up and is wrong.)
This battery eater holds SIX AA batteries, do the math.
Wondering what they will do next to keep me quite??????????

man hate to hear that, my wife bought me a camera last year(feb) and it has taken 280+ pictures and i'm on my 3rd set of batteries 6aa. hope you get some satisfaction mine is a photoscout by highlander sports, made local, and my wife knew somebody and anyway its my first and what i ended up with, this was not the kind of gift i would buy for myself but since i've gotten it, it is the neatest thing...anyway this is my first time fooling with a game cam, but i would really think you would get more life out of the batteries, oh by the way i went and bought batts for when ivan went thru, guess what the batteries are more than the radio i was buying them for....

You might want to spend a few extra dollars and buy some good/name brand batteries.

hey bowfanatic, no they were not gouging me, it was a cheap radio, 8 c batteries cost me 10$ i think i paid 13 something for the radio, oh well. at least we were lucky on the storm, just alot of high wind here, the only thing that really hurt me was the wind took out the top of one of my persimmon trees. by the way if your son is using batteries in a walkman i'd say thats an worthy test of any battery

I would suggest trying a different brand of battery. I have had my camera out since June and changed the batteries twice. The little light for low batteries never came on but I did it anyways because I wanted fresh batteiers.

[:'(][:'(][:'(] Ground hunter, WTF?
It seems stealth may want to make it right but their products won't allow it.
OFF THE SUBJECT:Cold weather and the 1.3mp Digital Stealth Cam
First let me say[:'(][:'(] I check my cam after only a week out. I has 58 pics and the batteries were dead. I went home downloaded the pics and found about 1/3 of the night time pics were blank. Day time pics after were fine but apparently when the temps drop below 45 degrees the flash dosn't cycle and you get wonderful black pics. I can't wait until it get real cold to see how she performes[:@]

I got 3 weeks out of my E2 batteries. I got 6-8 pics. 2 of deer. I still can't figure out why it eats batteries sho bad when it is only on for very short periods of time???

Did they send you a new camera or your old camera back? Studies have proove that batteries are batteries. They shouldn't be failing like that. Even if you buy into the hype and ads there won't be that much difference between name brands and no name brands. There must be a short in the camera or something else causing them to drain. Keep looking.

Good luck,
Get rid of the digital Stealth Cam. I will say that the company tries to make everything right with the customer, but like somebody said, the product can't back it up. The 35mm film models worked great for me, and I can't say enough good about them, but these digitals leave ALOT of room for improvement!
