oh by the way i went and bought batts for when ivan went thru, guess what the batteries are more than the radio i was buying them for....

You might want to spend a few extra dollars and buy some good/name brand batteries.
Ditto! I get the Energizer E2 batteries and after using them in my cam for a month their still going strong in my sons cd walkman.
