I've done both in the years I've been around.In states it is legal I did it and mostly cause you cant get to the deer anyother way.The terrain of all cactus and rattlesnakes dont allow you the option to go stumping threw 50,000 acres to chase them out.Where it is illegal I dont.And I have shot more deer without feeders then with feeders.In fact I can remember sitting 3 weeks in Texas in front of a feeder and seen 4 doe and dove and quail,all the bucks feed at night.I never liked drives either,cause i dont like shooting a running deer ,to risky and can make for some slop shots

If it is legal where you hunt, then it is OK to bait deer!

You can't bait in illinois plus even if u could i wouldn't do it because it's to easy i would rather sit up n the stand and sleep haha
